Reminder; drop off and pick up is always in the upper parking lot. There are many different activities that occur throughout the year, and the school entrance should remain clear to keep the students safe.

Marcher attire for Friday will be heat uniform - marching shoes, BLACK socks, show shirt and black shorts.

- Concessions bring everything up to the stadium from the band room Claire to coordinate
5:00-5:30 Equipment Drop / Equipment load (flag bags, student bags, drum stands– anything you need for the game)

Volunteer opportunities for this week’s home football game against North Forsyth are posted on Booster Hub. Please review the list of volunteer needs and sign up today!
Concessions For Home Games!
This year we are implementing a rotation for Concession Volunteers for our home games. If you enjoy volunteering with concessions, please continue to do so! We appreciate you all so much! However, concessions is one of the highest volume activities for every home game and requires a larger number of volunteers to keep things running smoothly. Therefore, each band section has been assigned a home game for parents to volunteer and help with our concessions.
HOME GAMES

1st half volunteers - pre-game and 1st and 2nd quarters
2nd half volunteers - 3rd and 4th quarters and post game clean-up

1st half volunteers - Brass - Sousaphone

SENIOR NIGHT
1st half volunteers - Brass - Trumpet - 9th, 10th, 11th grade
2nd half volunteers -Colorguard - 9th & 10th grade
Our second half volunteers are just as important as our first half. If you volunteer to work the second half please arrive at your determined start time to relieve the first half volunteers.
All Volunteer slots will be set up in Booster Hub one week prior to the Friday night game. Volunteering is fun and where parents build community within the band family!
2025-2026 Parking Passes Still Available!
Wish you could park closer to the stadium on Friday night game nights? We’ve got you. 2025-2026 Parking Passes are now available for purchase. The cost is $40.00 for your own space in the band lot, right next to the stadium. The pass is valid all season! Visit Booster Hub Store to purchase your pass today!

Meals to Missions Credits have been applied to Marcher accounts.

11th and 12th Grade Guard Parents - This Friday (Aug 29), we are asking you to volunteer at the Concession Stand. Each home game is assigned to two sections and this Friday is our turn. Please sign up in Booster Hub. Thanks in advance!

There is a slight deviation for Percussion's timeline for Friday Night’s Home game against North Forsyth:
4:30: Percussion Load Trailers
5:00 Perform at Fine Arts Tailgate
5:30: Percussion eats dinner (Game Day Meal: pizza, chips, soda and a cookie donated by Gwinnett Church)
6:00 Uniform Inspection/Warm Up

Lanier Bands Spirit Wear!
Spirit Wear orders have been placed with Pipe Dream Prints! Items will be delivered to Mrs. Wilson-Fields for distribution the week of September 8th.
If you missed this round, don’t worry. We will have a full spirit wear offering throughout the season at Pipe Dream Prints - Lanier Bands Store.

In order to receive the tickets, parents must set-up and break down the chairs. There should be one person participating for each ticket. More details can be found in Booster Hub under the volunteer opportunity.
Marchers should make plans to assist with the chairs to earn Community Service hours. Volunteer slots for each upcoming show will open in Booster Hub one month prior to the concert date.
Parents’ Night Out!
Join us for our next Parents’ Night Out on September 20 at 6:30 pm by Indio Brewery in Downtown Sugar Hill! Parents’ Night Out is a great way to meet fellow parents with kids in the Lanier Band program and make new friends! This is a casual, drop in type of event where everyone comes as they are and spends time with friends. 9th Grade parents, this is a great way to meet other parents with students in the Marching Band. We look forward to seeing you all there!
