Register for the 2025-2026 Lanier Longhorn Marching Band season!

Did you miss the cutoff to register for the 2025-2026 Marching Band season but are still interested in being a part of Marching Band? Don’t worry, we’ve got you!  You can email lanierbandhelp@gmail.com for assistance! 

Sports Physicals Required!

Lanier High School requires all student athletes (this includes marching band) to sign consent forms and upload physicals through RankOne.com. Physicals must be completed and uploaded into RankOne before band camp!  Don’t wait until the last minute.   Get them in as soon as possible.

Here are the steps to complete:

• To sign consents and upload the physicals, visit www.rankone.com/content/ or by visiting the Athletics page on the Lanier High School website. 
• If visiting Rank One, click "Parents Click Here" > Forms > Georgia > Gwinnett County Schools. Then review the instructions and click Proceed to Online Forms. 
• If visiting the Lanier High School website, scroll down the page, on the right side click the link to print the physical form.  
• Print and take this form to your doctor’s office or a clinic like Kroger's Little Clinic.
• Once completed, you will upload the form to RankOne and the school will approve.

Pit Crew Build Day!

Our awesome Pit Crew will hold its first props build day Saturday, June 14th.  Everyone interested in helping out should plan to meet at the Drury’s house at 9:00 AM Saturday morning to start prepping and building the props for this year’s show!  The Drury’s address is 648 Grand Folia Court, Sugar  Hill GA 30518.

Band Camp Supplies Needed!

Families, as we begin planning for next year, there are items we need to make band camp a success for the kids.  We ask that all families please select two items from our list of needs, preferably from different categories. Items can be dropped off at the June band camp workshops, or the first day of band camp (July 14th)!

Donations needed from band families for band camp: 

• packs of water
• sports drinks
• snacks

Housing Request for Instructor during Band Camp!

Dear Band Family, we will be bringing in an out of town instructor for band camp this year and are asking if one of our amazing band families have the ability to provide housing accommodations for the July band camp dates?  If you think you are able to assist with this request, please send an email to lanierbandhelp@gmail.com with your availability.  Thank you!  

Meals to Mission Fundraiser - Now Open!

Our Meals to Missions fundraising campaign is now open! All students are expected to participate in our joint effort to raise $160,000 over the summer in partnership with the football team. Students who were at practice today were provided with a flyer with a registration QR code and a document to gather their contacts. For those who were not at practice today, please make every effort to have your student at practice on 6/16 if in town, where we will report straight to the football stadium at 9:00 AM for our Textathon! Band and Football students will gather into groups to send out their texts to raise funds from family members, friends, coworkers, community members, and any other contacts you think will support. There will be snacks, music, games, prizes, and more! This is just the first of two big events, so more to come as we get further into the summer! See attached for registration instructions and a contact list template. Student registration should be completed prior to their arrival on 6/16, but donation requests are not necessary prior to 6/16. 

In Search Of Chest Freezer for Concessions!

We are in search of a chest freezer for our Concessions area.  Our current freezer has unfortunately died and must be replaced prior to the start of the new season.  If you, or someone you know, has one they are willing to donate to the band, please send an email to lanierbandhelp@gmail.com.  Thank you! 

Spirit Night - Tonight!

Zaxby's in Sugar Hill is hosting a Lanier Band Spirit Night! Tonight, June 9th, from 5-8 PM, enjoy chicken fingers, wings, fries and more while 10% of all sales go to Lanier Band! Invite your family and friends and spread the word! All sales count towards our Spirit Night - so, the more, the merrier!

Parents’ Night Out!

Join us for our next Parents’ Night out on June 20 at 6:30 PM by Indio Brewery in Downtown Sugar Hill!  Parents’ Night Out is a great way to meet fellow parents with kids in the Lanier Band program and make new friends!  We look forward to seeing you all there!

Fundraising!

Arena Volunteers

We have fundraising opportunities at the Gas South Arena available monthly!  Last month, alone, our band families raised $4,212.92 toward student accounts and our band's general fund!  No experience is needed.  You can find all information about attendance requirements, pay breakdown, uniform expectations, parking, etc in the BoosterHub section for volunteers.  Under volunteer opportunities you will find an arena option.  Please read all the information provided and if you are interested in working shifts then add your name to the list of volunteers and you will find yourself in the Arena chat where we post schedules, ask for shifts and receive confirmations.  We have currently placed our requests for their June calendar but July will be here before you know it.  Any additional questions, please email Missy (missystocks@gmail.com).

Sign up for Kroger's Community Rewards program! Visit Kroger's website to sign up. Search for Lanier Band Booster Association. 4% of your weekly Kroger spend on groceries will be donated to the band automatically!
